A right to health and safety on the job. A voice at work that the boss can’t ignore. A right to vote on your contract. Career advancement through training and education. Job security.
These are but a few of the advantages that being a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local No. 800 can provide. Through the collective voice of our membership, we negotiate a living wage for our members with health insurance, a pension plan, a vacation savings plan and training programs. We stand on the principle that through a concerted voice, workers can maintain a fair, just and equitable partnership with their employer.
Local 800 represents skilled professionals and apprentices in the construction, mining, repair, railroad industry and building maintenance industries. We endeavor to further the interest of not only the hard working men and women we directly represent, but all working people in Wyoming. We welcome all those who wish to organize, and extend our hand to all those who want to help themselves.
